Gualberto Segundo Agamez Montalvo
Holds a degree in Statistics from the University of Córdoba – Colombia (2011), a Master’s degree in Statistics from the National University of Colombia – Bogotá (2014), and a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of São Paulo (2017). He is currently a reviewer for the journal Cuadernos de Estadística Aplicada, a professor at the Federal University of Ceará, and a member of the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development. He has experience in the field of Probability and Statistics, with an emphasis on Statistics. His work focuses mainly on the following topics: finite mixtures, alpha stability, EM algorithm, MCMC algorithm, classification, and identifiability.
