Bruno de Athayde Prata
He holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Porto (2011), a Master’s degree in Logistics and Operations Research from the Federal University of Ceara (2007), and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (2005) from the same institution. He spent a sabbatical year at the University of Seville (2020/2021). He is a professor in the Department of Production Engineering at the Federal University of Ceará. He is the leader of the Group in Industrial Engineering and Computational Intelligence (dgp.cnpq.br/dgp/espelhogrupo/2955724801408791). He is an Associate Editor (Industrial Engineering and Operations Management) of the journal Engineering Optimization (ISSN 1029-0273). His research focuses on Logistics and Operations Management, emphasizing sequencing and logistics problems. He has been a CNPq Productivity Scholar (Production and Transport) since 2019.
