Gualberto Segundo Agamez Montalvo
Holds a bachelor’s degree in Statistics from the Universidad de Córdoba, Colombia (2011), a master’s degree in Statistics from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá, Colombia (2014), and a Ph.D. in Statistics from the University of São Paulo (2017). Currently, he is a professor at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and a researcher in the Graduate Program in Modeling and Quantitative Methods (MMQ) at UFC.
He has experience in the field of Probability and Statistics, with a theoretical and applied emphasis on multivariate data analysis, survival analysis, regression models, sampling, biostatistics, epidemiology, quality control, analysis of categorical data, development of distribution families and distributions for asymmetric variables, data science, natural language processing (NLP), development of machine learning models and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, computer vision, statistical learning, AI in Big Data, and data science.
